Hello and welcome to "The Conspicuously Incredible Fabricated Fairy Tale! Project: Geode"; online entity. A genre bending, era bending, fantasy style, anime inspired, music oriented, "Conspicuously Incredible" gag festival of pop culture references and stupid jokes that is fit for only those who possess a sense of humor. This is the online suppliment to the comic currently in production by me. Project: Geode is a side project that I started a few years ago just to see if I could write one. After hitting some slow spots, I've cranked up the serious meter and decided to not only complete my comic as I had intended, but chronicle my way along my wild, wierd, sleep deprived, working full time, and getting a degree filled journey. Though updates may be slow going, my mind isn't. So many new ideas come up between updates; the possibility of elaborating on them all is next to impossible. I write most of them down so I have them later and can work them in while writing.

Conspicuously Hammering Out The Details -

Though I haven't posted much here, there is much going on behind the scenes. I have just finished a class in website design, thus the new design and the new pages and I'm now starting an intro to web graphics class that I'm quite excited about. In all actually, this was the layout I had in mind originally but could not get the columns, header, and footer to line up properly. For the moment, what you see is what you get. I still don't have the podcast ready yet (though it's in the works), nor the blogroll (though it's all a matter of elaborating opon and writing my piece on the topics I've chosen). The Conspicuously Incredible Fabricated Fun Board is up (kinda) but will not be ready for full use until I complete either one of the two above. Soon after, RSS feeds will be in the works.
So please look around, but don't break anything. If anything is off or links are broken then use the contact me page or e-mail me at projectgeode@projectgeode.com and I'll try to address the problem. I will also do my best between work and my studies to crank out more updates soon!

Oh Those Fabricated Duds! -

Everyone, meet the new layout... for now. This layout is only a rough design and needs much more work. It's supposed to resemble a desktop... you know, because I'm still working on it. When writing the markup, I noticed that IE and Firefox yielded different results. Being a Firefox user myself, my main focus is on the appearance of this site as through Firefox. Note that many of the links are broken except for to the updates page, TCIFFB, and the three networking sites. I've decided against WordPress for the simple reason that I have no clue in hell how to edit pHp. So far the only classes I've taken are on HTML and my current Visual Basic course. Since little attention has been paid to this site lately, I thought it only fitting that I at least attempt something.
In the spirit of many other internet peoples, I too am attempting to throw caution to the wind and start blogging. There may even be a podcast in the future. The possibilities for this site are endless. Even I am not sure the nature of the beast I may be brooding. The Conspicuously Incredible Fabricated Fun Board is at a stalemate right now. I've worked a few things around, but I'm still not opening up the boards for at least a few weeks. Eventually it's going to be used for people to post comments about each of my entries. There may also be a few contests, I dunno. The thing is, this site will encourage your participation as I embark on a project that can only be described as far fetched and a complete waste of time.
My goal is to write my comic and then tell the world about how I'm doing. If I happen to get stuck somewhere along the line, I just may hold a contest for submission of a good idea. Through the miracle of my Conspicuously Incredible Fabricated powers (see, there's a theme here), the characters may even express their point of views. Copyright on this project is pending, so I can't put up much information about the story yet. So for now, my focus on the site layout and features.

I don't have much to say except that I'm still deciding upon the layout of this site. So far I have a message board. Though I still have to configure it yet, The Conspicuously Incredible Fabricated Fun Board is installed. You may register but you can not access your account until I approve the membership. Please bear with me as I slowly work this out.
Latest Site Update- June 18, 2010
- Added "Welcome!" message to home page.
- Implemented the new site banner.
- Created "New" and "Updated" icons for navigation bar.
- Swapped old Selryam and Nylara pics with newer, colored ones.
May 4, 2010 - Implemented yet again another layout.
- Added gallery page and first image.
April 9, 2010 - Removed plot text from home page and placed in on the Plot page.
- Updated existing Home page text and added "Fabricated For Your Enjoyment" image.
- Added image and text with Mission Statement and Plot links on the Overview page.
- Added Mission Statement to Mission Statement Page
- Added character bio. information for Zoso, Nylara, Morda, and Other Characters. Also added is a gallery type character page on Characters page.
- Added Flash Video and explaining text to Selryam Bio Page.
- Separated F.A.Q. from Contact Me page and replaced Misc. Information page with F.A.Q.
- Updated global and secondary navigation to accommodate addition of F.A.Q. page and removal of Misc. Information page.
- Added links to right sidebar.
March 26, 2010 - Added Character Bio. information for Selryam.
- Added e-mail form to Contact Me page that includes working mail script.
